A deviated septum is one of the most common causes of chronic nasal congestion, breathing difficulty, snoring and recurrent sinus infections. In septoplasty, the deviated septum is straightened without changing the external appearance of the nose.
As a rhinology fellow, Dr. Hashemi corrects the deviation with precise, minimally invasive techniques and, when needed, combines it with cosmetic rhinoplasty so that both breathing and shape improve.
