The first week
Swelling and bruising around the eyes and nose are normal in the first days. Keep your head elevated while sleeping and use cold compresses.
The splint
The nasal splint is usually removed after about one week.
Final result
Around 70% of swelling subsides within two to three months, and the final shape appears after 9–12 months.
